I am originally from the East and wanted to move back to be closer to my family. With the help of my husband Bruce we have formed Pisgah Petsitters here in beautiful Asheville NC. He has a background as a chef/manager for a non-profit environmental education organization serving children and adults, and has a degree in Anthropology. He is also a lifelong animal lover with experience in dog training/behavior. We are a wife/husband team and are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR.

We have fostered and helped rescue many animals. We have both had pets our entire life ranging from cats, to tiny toy Chihuahuas and larger mixed breed dogs. One of our specialties is caring for small breed dogs. We have always had toy and small dogs, and we understand their needs, behavior and temperament. We presently share our home with, Stanley, a feisty Maltese, Eva a sweet Golden Retriever, and our kooky cat XT. We believe strongly in the importance that pets play in all of our lives and we are dedicated to what we call a “petsitting lifestyle”, one that is centered around caring for our pets and yours.
